Price and Data Policy

Last updated: October 24, 2026

Mini PC prices change often. This page explains what our prices and specifications mean so you don’t read a stale number as current.

Where our data comes from

  • Specifications: the manufacturer’s own product page, manual or store listing, linked from the page. Where we use another source, we name it.
  • Prices (brand stores and other sellers): read from the seller’s page. We show the price or a price range with the date we checked.
  • Amazon: see below.
  • Third-party claims: attributed and linked. See How we test and compare.

Every price has a date

A price on this site is a snapshot, not a quote. It reads like “Checked {date}.” If you see a price without a date, treat it as unreliable and tell us. If the date is old, assume the price has changed. The price at the seller when you buy is the price that applies.

Our target is to re-check comparison pages that show prices regularly, with the highest-traffic pages checked most often. A date on the page shows when that was actually done.

Amazon prices

  • We do not write Amazon prices as fixed text. Prices on Amazon change frequently and vary by seller, so our Amazon links lead to the Amazon page, which shows the current price and availability.
  • If we show an Amazon price obtained through Amazon’s own tools, it carries the date and time and this notice: “Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on amazon.com at the time of purchase will apply to the purchase of this product.”

Barebone vs. ready-to-run

Many mini PCs are sold in several configurations. A barebone unit comes without memory, storage and often an operating system. A configured unit includes them. The same model can differ by hundreds of dollars between the two. When we show a price range, we say which configurations it covers. Compare like for like.

Region, currency and extras

  • This site covers the United States and shows prices in US dollars (USD).
  • Brand stores sell regional variants (for example US, EU, UK, AU) that can differ in price, parts, power plug and warranty. We say when a price is for a particular region.
  • Prices usually exclude sales tax, import duties and shipping unless we state otherwise.
  • Pre-order, backorder and out-of-stock items are labeled as such.

Specifications can differ from what ships

Manufacturers may revise parts without changing a model name, and spec pages may lag. Check the exact configuration, revision and seller before you buy.
